桐柏下黄竹园金矿为构造蚀变型金矿床,金矿体赋存于中元古界龟山岩组中,矿体形态呈脉状、似层状。赋矿围岩主要为石英片岩、斜长角闪片岩,围岩具硅化、黄铁矿化、绢云母化、绿泥石化、碳酸盐化蚀变。矿体受地层和构造控制。通过总结该矿区的地质特征、矿体特征和找矿标志,对于寻找同类型矿床,具有实用和借鉴意义。

Xiahuangzhuyuan gold deposit is a structural alteration type gold deposit in Tongbai district.The ore bodies occur as vein shape and semi-layered shape in the Mesoproterozoic Guishan rock Formation.The host rocks are mainly quartz schist,amphibolite schist with silicification,pyritization,sericitization,chloritization,carbonate alteration.The ore bodies are controlled by strata and structure.Based on the summary of geological feature,orebody characteristics and prospecting symbols in the mining area,it has practical and reference significance for the prospecting for the same type of deposit.
