Experience of testicular abscess Treated by Geng Xinsheng

"子痈"的临床体征及症状表现与现代医学的"附睾炎"类同,因机体抵抗力、免疫力下降,外界致病源入侵体内,打破原有的生理平衡状态而致。耿新生教授治疗慢性附睾炎本着"增强正气、疏肝散结、通经活络"的原则,采用当归补血汤滋补肝血合加味逍遥散疏肝解郁合丹参饮活血止疼合栝楼薤白汤化痰祛瘀,振奋胸阳,取得满意疗效。

The symptoms and signs of testicular abscess are similar to those of epididymitis in modern medicine, caused by the decline of body immunity and the attack of exogenous pathogen which breaks the original pathological balance and leads to disease. Professor Geng Xinsheng follows the ancient theory but doesn＇t obstinately follow the tradition. He holds the principle of ＂strengthening healthy qi, dispersing liver and stagnation and dredging the meridians and collaterals＂ and applies Chinese Angelica Blood-Supplementing Decoction to nourish liver blood, combining with Supplemented Free Wanderer Powder to disperse liver stagnation, Salvia Beverage to activate blood and check pain and Trichosanthes and Chinese Chive Decoction to resolve blood stasis and dispel blood stasis and activating chest yang, and finally satisfactory effects is achieved.
