从“求同”到“存异”:卡森·麦卡勒斯与中国作家的比较研究综述

From “Seeking Similarities”to “Reserving Differences”: A Review of Comparative Study Between Carson Mc Cullers and Chinese Writers

从全方位发掘张爱玲与麦卡勒斯的相似之处,到重点突出苏童与麦卡勒斯创作的"同构性",再到力证莫言在麦卡勒斯影响下由模仿到突破的创作,国内的麦卡勒斯比较研究经历了一个从"求同"到"存异"的演变过程。本文在分析该研究的局限性和现存问题的同时,认为其发展前景和研究意义未得到充分重视,并从如何在"求同"的基础上兼顾和发展"存异"的比较方针出发,对深化该研究提出了具体的有关研究视角和研究内容方面的建议。

This essay observes the process from ＂seeking similarities＂ to ＂reserving differences＂ in the comparative study between Carson McCullers and Chinese writers. In the comparison between Zhang Ail- ing and McCullers, scholars stress their similarities from many different aspects; studies on Su Tong and McCullers try to demonstrate certain common grounds between their writings; as for the comparison be- tween Mo Yan and McCullers, Mo＇ s innovation is emphasized while his imitation of McCullers＇ writing is al- so concerned. By analyzing its limits and problems, this essay also points out the lack of concern for the re- search significance and its prospect. In the final part, under the principle of ＂seeking similarities while reser- ving differences＂, this essay also provides certain potential perspectives and issues for the future study.
