老年综合评估是老年医学的核心技术之一,同时也是筛查老年综合征的有效手段。它以维护及促进老年患者的功能状态为目的,最大限度地提高老年人的生活质量。正确掌握及合理应用这一技术对老年患者的连续管理有重要的指导意义。老年综合评估不仅包括一般的医学评估,还包括对老年人躯体功能、生活环境、精神心理、社会经济等方面的评估,其在常见老年问题和老年综合征的评估中得到了广泛的应用。在不同医疗机构应用的有效性也得到了越来越多研究的证实。

Comprehensive geriatric assessment（CGA） is one of the core technologies in geriatrics and is an effective means of screening senile syndrome, which aims to maintain and promote the functional status of elderly patients and to maximize the quality of life of the elderly, and its reasonable and correct application may produce guiding roles in the continuous management of the elderly patients. Comprehensive geriatric assessment includes general medical evaluation and the assessment of the living environment ,physical function, psychological, social, economic and other aspects, which has been widely used in the assessment of common problems of the elderly and the senior syndrome. The effectiveness of the application of CGA in different medical institutions has also been confirmed by more and more studies.
