独立学院大学英语听力教学模式实验探析 被引量:4

摘要 独立学院大学生英语听辨能力一直以来是英语学习中的短板。如何提高大学英语听力教学效率是近年来英语教学界研讨最为激烈的课题之一。基于图式理论,结合独立学院学生英语基础普遍薄弱的现实,提出了独立学院大学英语听力"六步教学"模式,即语音补充、主题导入、生僻词汇展示、预测内容、理解听力材料、复述大意。同时,还展开实证研究,将同一教师所教的两个层次及水平类似的班分为实验班和控制班并分别使用"六步教学"模式和传统教学模式。在为期两年的实验结束后对两个班展开测试,并利用SPSS19.0分析了研究数据。实验结果证明了该教学模式在独立学院英语听力教学中的有效性,进而为同类院校的大学英语听力教学提供些许借鉴。 College English listening capability has long been one of the shortcomings for college students in independent colleges in their English learning. Therefore,how to improve the efficiency of college English listening instruction has been one of the most frequently discussed issues in recent years. This thesis,in the light of the schemata theory,puts forward the "six-step instruction"model for English listening instruction in independent colleges,namely complementary phonetic instruction,thematic leading in,new words and phrases instruction,content prediction,comprehension of listening materials and retelling,based upon the fact that the students are disadvantaged in terms of their foundation of English learning. At the same time,an empirical study is conducted,labeling two classes in the same level taught by the same teacher as experimental class and control class,one of which is taught in "six-step"model and the another in traditional model. After a two-year teaching experiment,a test is conducted with the statistics-analyzing tool,SPSS19.0,to analyze the test results. According the result of the analysis,it is proved that the "six-step instruction"model in English listening instruction in independent colleges is effective,hence it provides some inspiration for the English listening instruction in the same kind of colleges.
