中国英语能力等级量表结构探微——听力描述语的横向参数框架与纵向典型特征

Investigating the inner structure of China's Standards of English:Descriptive scheme and salient features of listening ability descriptors

本文以听力描述语为例,深入探讨了中国英语能力等级量表的内部结构。首先,作者依据交际语言能力理论,界定了基于运用的听力理解能力构念。其次,作者介绍了听力描述语的横向参数框架,即听力能力量表的组织架构。第三,作者分析了听力描述语的纵向典型特征,即描述语中区分能力等级的要素。最后,作者讨论了量表效度验证的相关问题。

Taking the listening ability descriptors of China＇s Standards of English （CSE） as examples, this article made an attempt to investigate the inner structure of CSE. First, within the theoretical framework of communicative language ability, the authors defined the construct of use-oriented listening ability. Second, the authors presented the horizontal descriptive scheme of listening ability descriptors, namely the structure of the listening ability scale. Third, the authors analyzed the salient vertical features of listening ability descriptors, namely the features distinguishing one level of listening ability from another level. Finally, the authors discussed issues on scale validation.
