摘要
社会网对求职效果的研究较少关注求职者的异质性。通过使用JSNET 2014和CLDS 2014数据,在区分恒职者与换职者的基础上,进一步将换职者分成低薪换职者和高薪换职者,并使用共现分析、多元线性回归模型和有限混合模型来详细分析换职者群体的内部异质性。研究结果显示,恒职者在寻找初职中,社会网络使用程度高于低薪换职者和高薪换职者,而高薪换职者无论初职还是现职,求职中的社会网络使用程度均高于低薪换职者。然而,在求职效果上,社会网络对低薪换职者收入的影响更为显著。
Previous research on social networks and occupational attainment paid little attention to the heterogeneity within job seekers.By using data from two large-scale surveys conducted in China in 2014,this article not only differentiates movers(job changers)from stayers(non-changers),but also divides movers into two groups:the low-income and the high-income.Through coincidence analysis,multiple regression,and finite mixture models,this article further examines the differences in social network usage and differential impacts of social network measures on monthly income among stayers,low-income movers,and high-income movers.Our results showthat when searching for the first job,stayers have higher levels of network usage than both low-income movers and higher-income movers,but high-income movers have higher levels of network usage than low-income movers.However,the network effects on monthly income are larger for low-income movers than for high-income movers.
