Absence of Editors and Its Influence in the Era of Personalized Recommendation Reading

个性化推荐阅读盛行,彰显了技术的进步给用户阅读带来的积极改变。但在技术主导下,移动资讯客户端出现了编辑缺位的现象,使得平台媒介的公共性内容缺失,个性化内容得到强化。快餐速食文化下,个性化推荐阅读不仅难以改善社会的阅读贫困,而且面临着算法偏见的风险,这种风险在日益割裂的网络社会易加剧群体间的偏见。个性化推荐技术最终应当作一种工具来审视,对于人们通过阅读获得理性思辨、价值引领与知识完善而言,需要加强编辑与技术的沟通,提高编辑的技术素养,在技术应用中掌握主动。

Personalized recommendation reading prevails and it highlights the positive changes brought by technological advances. However, under the domination of technology, the lack of editors among mobile information clients deprives the platform media of contents concerning the general public, although the personalized content has been strengthened. Based on the analysis of today＇s headlines, this study examines the negative effects of personalized recommendation reading out of the absence of editors. In the meanwhile, this study also proposes editors should play a more positive role in personalized recommendation reading in terms of maintaining editors＇ positions in reading, editors＇ mission of value gatekeeper and enhancing the communication between editors and technicians.
