论叶圣陶的文学编辑功绩——以《小说月报》为中心的研究

On Ye Shengtao's Literary Editing Merit:A Study Centered on Novel Monthly Magazine

叶圣陶接编《小说月报》后,他以文学编辑家的远见卓识和社会责任使命,精心打造了一批最具时代感的光辉名篇,很好地推动新文学创作的发展。叶圣陶鼓励和帮助沈雁冰开启小说创作之路,也对文学新人丁玲步入现代文坛有过提携,还曾扶植巴金走上文学创作之路。就其扶植的三位具有代表性的现代作家而言,他们的文学创作实绩在中国现代文学史上具有不可替代的历史意义,这其中不可或缺编辑家叶圣陶对其的发现、引导、培养之功。叶圣陶文学编辑中的人才意识至今仍具有重要的现实意义。

Ye Shengtao after compiling Novel Monthly Magazine, with his mission, vision and social respon- sibility of being a literary editor, established a group of the most glorious contemporary masterpieces, and promoted the development of new literature creation. Ye Sheng-tao encouraged and helped Shen Yanbing open the novel creation road,also helped the literary newcomer Ding Ling enter the modern literary world to have a carrer, and helped put Ba Jin on the path of literary creation, in respect of his fostering of the three representative modern writers and the irreplaceable historical significance of their achievements in lit erary creation in the history of Chinese modern literature, Ye Shengtao is the one who found, guided and cultivated them. The talent consciousness of YE Sheng-tao being a literary editor still has important practi- cal significance.
