中国与古巴卫生交流与合作初探

A Research on Health Communication and Cooperation Between China and Cuba

在古巴建国前,已有不少华人医生行医于此并在当地引入中医药。古巴建国后,特别是在中国与古巴建立外交关系后,同属社会主义阵营的两国医学交流日趋增多,中医渐渐在古巴流行起来。尤其是美国对古巴的禁运政策,使得古巴越发倚重成本较低的中医疗法。进入21世纪后,两国都十分重视且大力推动在卫生领域的互动,双方在制药研发、生物科技、中草药种植与针灸疗法等方面合作均有突破性进展,这些将对双方在未来继续加强医疗卫生合作、深化发展起到重要的作用。

Before the founding of the Republic of Cuba,several Chinese doctors had practiced medicine there and introduced traditional Chinese medicine to local people. After its founding,especially after the establishment of diplomatic relationships between China and Cuba,communication in medicine between the two socialist countries gradually increased,so Chinese medicine prevailed in Cuba. Especially the implementation of American embargo policy to Cuba resulted in Cuba relying more on traditional Chinese medicine therapy for its lower cost. In the 21 thcentury,Cuba and China vigorously improved the interaction in health field. As a result,both of them have made breakthroughs in pharmaceutical research and development,biotechnology,Chinese herbal medicine,acupuncture therapy etc,which plays an important role in their further health cooperation and development.
