Interdisciplinary Character of Materials Physics

材料物理学是介于物理学与材料学之间的一门边缘学科,涉及到包括晶体学、材料力学、物理化学、材料科学基础及材料性能在内的多个学科分支,同时,物理学中的一些分支如热力学、弹塑性理论、统计物理、量子力学、固体物理学等也是其重要基础。它具有明显交叉学科性质的课程,通过巧妙构思,在问题的引入、课程的设计及课堂实验展示等方面充分体现其学科交叉性,可激发学生的学习兴趣,帮助学生学以致用,提高学生学习基础理论的积极主动性。

Material physics is a borderline between physics and material science disciplines, involves the crys-tallography ,mechanics of materials, physical chemistry , material science and material performance of multiple disciplines ,branch. At the same time,some branches of physics such as thermodynamics,elastic -plastic theory , statistical physics,quantum mechanics,solid physics ,etc .are all important basis .Materials Physics is a curricu-lum with interdisciplinary character. By fully exhibiting the interdisciplinary character in the subject introduc-tion ,curriculum design and demonstration experiment, the students＇ interests in studying can be stimulated . Thus, the students will take an active interest in studying fundamental theory and put into practice what has been learned .
