Universalization, serialization and modularization （USM） are an advanced form of standardization and an effective mode of product optimizing development. This paper expounds the concept of USM resources, puts forward the classification of USM resources, systemically discusses the contents including the structuralization, formatting design, data collection and management methods, platform system design of the USM resources.
