The article is discussing about the community hierarchy expressions in the project Monte Amiata Housing designed by Italian neo-rationalism architects Carlo Aymonino and Aldo Rossi, and comparing with the ones in community architectures in Milanese hinterland designed by Guido Canella. All of those projects were built before or after 1970s, which is exactly the peak of the Italian Labor Movement. As a result, the architects unavoidable had to find the way of expressing the hierarchy features of communities, especially a proper architecture language and style for the masses of proletarian.
