产业内集聚、产品关联密度与城市产品比较优势转换

Industry Agglomeration, Product Density and Endogenous RCA Evolution in Cities

本文使用2000-2006年BACI双边贸易统计数据库和中国海关进出口统计数据库,计算了中国各城市每种HS6位数产品与该城市比较优势产品的关联密度。结合2000-2006年中国工业企业统计数据库所计算的产业集聚指标和中国城市统计年鉴数据,从产业内集聚角度考察了产业集聚对城市不同关联密度产品比较优势演化路径的影响。结果表明:城市产品的比较优势转换存在明显的路径依赖,与当地生产结构关联密度较高的产品有更高的概率成为当地下一期的比较优势产品;产业内集聚会加速高关联密度产品的比较优势转换,然而其本身并不必然决定该产品成为下一期城市具有比较优势的产品。

This paper studies the relationship between industrial agglomeration and the dynamic evolutionofcities＇ comparative advantage in different productrelatedness density based on the China Customs import and export data and Chinese industrial enterprises data in 2000–2006. We find that the industry agglomerationwill accelerate the product to be a comparative advantage product in next period when this product has denser linkage with local production structural. However, agglomeration itself does not necessarily determine whether the product willbecome a comparative advantage product in next period.
