态度系统视角下《飘》的原/译文对比研究

A Comparative Study of the English and Chinese Versions of Gone With the Wind from the Perspective of Attitude System——From the Perspective of Attitude System

评价理论是系统功能语言学的进一步发展,是语言使用者对事物的观点和看法。翻译的对等关系不只是建立在概念和语篇意义上,还应体现在评价意义上,即译文是否忠实再现源文作者的各种态度、情感强度和价值观念,而态度意义又包括情感、判定和鉴赏意义。基于对源文态度意义理解的基础上,对《飘》的两个中译本和原文的节选语段进行比较分析,以揭示原文态度意义是否在译文中忠实表达,并分析其原因。

Appraisal theory can be treated as the further development of systematic functional linguistics,and is the language users＇ viewpoints to things.Equivalence of translation should not be restricted to the ideational and textual meaning,it is equally important to search for the equivalence in respects of appraisal meaning,which is the author＇s attitudes,emotional intensity and value concept.The attitude meaning involves emotion,determination and reference significance.On the basis of the former analysis of attitude meanings,we make comparative analysis on the two Chinese translation versions with the original version,aiming to explore the degree to which the two Chinese translations are faithful to the original work,as well as the potential reasons for the unfaithfulness.
