新形势下的中央文献翻译策略研究——以《习近平谈治国理政》英译为例

Translation Strategies of Central Committee Literature in the New Era——A Case Study of the English Translation of Xin Jinping: The Governance of China

《习近平谈治国理政》英译文本是西方世界了解当前中国国情和内政外交政策的窗口,体现出新形势下中央文献翻译策略的新发展。《习近平谈治国理政》英译既坚持让"读者向作者靠拢",又注意让"作者向读者靠拢",灵活运用异化、显化、简化、信息重组等多种翻译策略,积极构建融通中外的对外政治话语体系。通过翻译案例分析,研究《习近平谈治国理政》英译本的翻译策略,并探讨翻译目的、文本类型和文化自觉等因素对其翻译策略制定的影响,以期对新形势下的中央文献英译有一定的启迪意义。

The English version of Xi Jinping： The Governance of China,becomes the window for the western countries to get access to China＇s national conditions and its domestic and foreign policies,reflecting the new development of the translation strategies of the central committee literature. The English translation of Xi Jinping： The Governance of China sticks to the principles of ＂moving the reader towards the author＂and＂moving the author towards the reader＂,positively constructing a harmonious international political discourse system between China and foreign countries by means of different translation strategies like foreignization,explicitation,simplification,information recomposing and so on. By studying the cases extracted from the English version of Xi Jinping： The Governance of China,the paper analyzes the influence of factors like objective of translation,text typology,cultural consciousness,etc. on adopting translation strategies,so as to give some insights into the translation of the CPC central committee literature in the new era.
