化学添加剂和抗生素滥用已经成为制约畜牧业发展的因素之一,结果是产生了耐药性及影响了反当动物和人类健康。植物及其提取物具有抗菌、促生长、提高免疫力和抗氧化性的特点,在反刍动物的瘤胃发酵、营养代谢、产品、以及生长繁殖方面发挥作用。作为高效、安全、稳定、可控的植物提取物和中草药饲料添加剂日益成为抗生素的替代品,成为天然的饲料添加剂。文章将对中草药以及植物提取物在反刍动物生产上的应用进展进行论述。

The arbitrary abuse of chemical additives and antibiotics has become one of the factors thatrestricting the development of animal husbandry, the result is that it produces the drug resistance andimpacting the ruminants and human health. Plant and plant extracts posses the characteristics of anti-bacterial, growth-promoting, immunity-improving and anti-oxidation. For ruminant animals, it playsan important role, including ruminal fermentation, nutrition metabolism, products, growth and reproduc-tion. As an efficient, safe, stable and controllable plant extracts and Chinese herbal medicine feed ad-ditives have increasingly become the substitutes of antibiotics and become the natural feed additives.This paper will discuss the application of the Chinese herbal medicine and plant extracts in the pro-duction of ruminants.
