"科学论战"是由"科学"引发并主战一方的学术论战乃至社会论战。梳理与中国密切相关的两场"科学论战"——"人类起源之争"和"转基因食品大战",及其中中西方学界,科学与人文领域学者,科学家与大众等群体间的差异和对话,发现论战背后的"利益共同体""民族主义""对话机制"等问题及"德先生与赛先生"的曲折发展引人深思。

The ＂science debate＂ is the academic debate or social debate triggered by science. The review of modern human origin debate and genetically modified food debate in China shows the differences between west and east, science and art scholars, scientists and the public. It also leads to the thorough thinking about the ＂the community of interests＂, ＂nationalism＂ and ＂the dialogue mechanism＂ of the debates, and the development of ＂Democracy and Science＂.
