摘要
香港住区建设的重点已从97回归以前以现代功能主义为导向的新城及单一居住功能的小区建设,转向97回归后的后现代城市的见缝插针式的多功能综合式的,高密度和质量提升并进建设方式。高密度不再视为居住质量的问题,高密度作为提高生活和城市空间质量,提高资源效率的机会日益显现。本文以湾仔为例,剖析了97回归以后,城市更新带来高密度,综合性,高生活品质,以及竖向城市中居住环境的特点。揭示了香港城市居住形态从"数量"到"质量"、从高密度到高层高密度、从平面到竖向空间的认知方式的变化,并试图提出香港特点的建筑学思想。
Hong Kong Housing construction has changed from living districts led by modern functionalism concepts into urban insertion and injection of mixed use development of a post modernism society since 1997. High density urbanism is further intensified together with increasing of quality of living. High density is no longer treated as living problem, but a chance of upgrading living quality, improving urban space, and increasing the efficiency of resources. This paper reveals the characteristic of vertical living environment- high density, mix-use, higher living quality achieved by piecemeal urban renewal in Wan Chai District. It demonstrates how the housing morphology transforming from Quantity to Quality, from high density to high rise high density, and from plan to vertical from. The paper also indicates the emerging of new architectural theory from the very context of Hong Kong.
