Performance analysis of the illuminators of opportunity is a crucial topic in passive radar field.Considering FBMC（filter-bank multi-carrier）,a kind of non-orthogonal multi-carrier modulated signal was used as the illuminators of opportunity for the multistatic passive radar.The closed form of the average ambiguity function of the noncoherent multistatic radar based on FBMC was derived.Besides,-3,dB contour area of ambiguity function was used as a measurement to compare the range resolution performance under four different kinds of the radar station configuration.Simulation results show that increasing the number of transmitters and receivers can enhance the range resolution performance of multistatic radar system.When the number of transmitters and receivers are given,the transmitters＇ location will influence the range resolution performance evidently.
