Ethnic issues are crucial to the long-term security and stability of China. Chairman Xi Jinping has attached great importance to our ethnic work and minority areas,and given clear instructions on constructing the teams of ethnic minority leaders. The construction of a team of ethnic minority leaders who are devoted,responsible and qualified is the key to Yunnan＇s development,which calls for an overall planning based on the quick development of Yunnan,concerted efforts from all CPC committees,the governments,educational institutions,and the public. A high-quality ethic minority team of leaders will ideologically and organizationally guarantee Yunnan＇s realization of＂a moderately prosperous society for all＂and＂a demonstration area of ethnic unity and progress＂.
