反拨效应是指测试对教师教学和学生学习所产生的影响,根据反拨效应所产生的实际影响,可以将其分为积极的反拨作用和消极的反拨作用。在测试学界,专家学者已经对反拨效应进行了大量的分析和研究,形成了完备的理论体系,为语言教学提供了有效的指导。公共英语应用能力考试是一项检测学生英语实际应用能力的一种考试制度,目的在于提高学生的语言技能,帮助他们能够满足社会工作的需要。本研究通过对积极的反拨作用和消极的反拨作用进行分析,得出了对实践教学的一些启示。

Washback effects refer to the influence that tests have on both teaching and learning.It can be divided into positive washback effects and negative washback effects.In testing field,a number of researches have been conducted on washback effects by experters and scholars and washback effect has formed a complete theoretical system,which offers an effective direction for language teaching. PRETCO （Practical English Test for Colleges） is an examination system to exame students＇ ability to use English,which aims at improving students＇ language skills as well as helping them meet the society requirement. In he research,positive washback effects and negative washback effects are analyized and the author put forward some new teaching ideas.
