The translation of literary works is the beginning of cross-cultural transmission. Mo Yan＇ s novels attract more and more attention in foreign academy and among general readers, and it set a model for other Chinese writers of literary works to be accepted in other countries. The successful transmission of Red Sorghum in other countries lies in successful operation of the publishing organizations, forceful push of foreign academy and mass media and the adoption of literary agent system.
