Hemodynamics refers to the dynamics of blood flow in the cardiovascular system, and it mainly focuses on study of blood flow volume, blood flow resistance, blood pressure and the relationship between them. For patients with severe valvular heart disease, they are prone to low cardiac output syndrome and pulmonary hypertension crisis and other complications after the surgery. Hemodynamic monitoring is particularly important in the post operation. During the process of education of intensive care unit in cardiovascular surgery, it is an important part of teaching to enable students to gradually establish the concept of hemodynamic monitoring and treatment for such severe patients.
