The uncertainty of the determination of total sulfur in petroleum coke by infrared method was introduced,and the sources of the uncertainty were analyzed in detail. Through the combination of the uncertainty components,and the standard uncertainty of total sulfur content in petroleum coke by infrared method was obtained. Finally,the uncertainty range of measured values was given in the form of extended uncertainty.
