Construction of the Times Spirit in the New Age——Comment on Ecological Philosophy: Times Spirit in the New Century

基于现代性哲学的现代工业文明已经在生态、环境、资源等多方面显示出其本质上的不可持续性,实现文明形态的根本性转变迫在眉睫。新时代呼唤新的时代精神,而生态哲学通过对现代性哲学的反思,结合中国传统的思想资源,能够逐步改变人们的哲学观、自然观、科学观和价值观,从而建构起生态文明新时代的时代精神,引领人类走向人与自然的持续和谐发展。

Modern industrial civilization,based on the modern philosophy,has revealed its non-sustainability in nature concerning ecology,environment,resources and other aspects,therefore,a fundamental change in realizing civilization form is extremely urgent. The New Age calls for the new times spirit. Through reflections on modern philosophy,and in combination with traditional Chinese ideological resources,ecological philosophy can gradually change people＇s philosophical viewpoint,natural outlook,scientific outlook and value outlook,so as to build up the times spirit of the new era of ecological civilization and finally lead to the continuous and harmonious development between man and nature.
