摘要
严歌苓小说从创作初始,就呈现出理想、现实、戏剧三重世界的丰富色彩,不过在不同阶段各有侧重.早期侧重于表达理性的追求,体现出诗性悲剧的浪漫激越;留美后更多关注移民生活和小人物的境遇,呈现出现实世界底层叙事的平实冷峻;回望故国时期作品愈加成熟,更加注重选材的传奇性与典型性的融合,体现出人生如戏的戏剧世界的圆熟浓烈.这三重世界紧密联系又各有侧重,使得小说的叙事气氛与腔调在理性与感性、现实与理想、庸常与传奇、亲近与疏离中徘徊,进而呈现出繁华绮丽的多重色彩.
Yan Geling has vividly depicted a threefold world of ideal,reality and drama since she started writing.However,the threefold world is respectively expressed in different stages of her writing:Her early works express the rational pursuit through the romantic passion of her poetic tragedies.During herstay in USA,her works approach the life of immigrants and the common run of men in a plain and callous depiction of the underclass in the real world.Later in her mature recollection of her motherland,Yan Geling perfectly blends the legendary power with the representative features of her themes and reflects the sophisticated world of drama in profusion.Through a close connection and respective expression of the threefold world in her novels she builds a narrative atmosphere wondering between rationality and emotion,reality and ideal,plainness and legend as well as intimacy and alienation,thus creating a multi-faceted style in flourish.
