教学学术能力视角下大学英语教师学科发展逻辑——以广东外语外贸大学为例

摘要 重视大学教师的教学学术能力发展已成为教师发展的基本趋势。在对教师学术能力发展的概念内涵界定之后,对广东外语外贸大学的大学英语教师的发展模式特点进行了深入分析,认为该大学教师发展模式在教师学术能力的发展上独具以下特点:重视大学教师的学术能力发展,以教师的教学学术能力的提高作为大学教学的落脚点与工作中心;以教师发展中心作为承担教师学术能力发展的主要组织机构;以丰富的教学材料与语料库为外语教师学术能力发展的内容支撑;以教师评聘政策与制度建立作为教学学术能力发展的保障;以网路交流为主构建的教学交流沟通平台是教师教学学术能力发展的社会支持。在当前各地大学和教育行政部门普遍重科研的环境下,这种发展模式为中国大学教师学术能力发展、大学本科教学质量的提高提供了可借鉴的模式与可操作性的建议。 Many higher education institutions emphasized the importance of research rather than teaching in their mission statement. After the Boyer's report, good teaching is no longer simply a faculty member' duty; it is also critical to the credibility of an institution. The model of scholarship development of teaching in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) addresses these aspects : building up teachers training system, providing teaching technological supporting system, rewarding teachers who are excellent on teaching, and building up teachers communication platform. The model of GDUFS is an operational model which give some enlightenment on teachers' professionalization.
