少数民族外语教育研究的现状分析

Reviewing Current Reasearches on Foreign Language Education of China's Minority Nationalities

外语教育是少数民族教育的重要组成部分。自21世纪以来,中国的少数民族外语教育取得了长足的进步和发展。通过分析2000-2014年期间期刊论文和高层次科研项目研究成果,发现:少数民族外语教育研究成果数量呈逐年上升的态势,研究话题呈现跨学科特点,对少数民族外语教育的重要性和复杂性达成了共识。尽管如此,少数民族外语教育研究在"概念内涵、语种选择、少数民族外语人才培养"等方面仍缺乏清晰的界定,外语教育在提升少数民族知识发展水平以及服务国家和地方发展战略等方面所扮演的角色问题尚未引起重视。

Foreign language education is a vital part of minority nationalities＇ education.The present paper analyzes the journal articles and national research project published or funded during 2000 and 2014.The results show that a remarkable development has been achieved in terms of the number of relevant studies.The research on minority nationalities-oriented foreign language education is a cross-disciplinary field.A consensus about the importance and the complexity of foreign languages education has been reached.Nevertheless,the review of the previous studies also uncovers the limitations and shortcomings.The future studies should revisit the construct of minority nationalities-oriented foreign language education,the choice of the target foreign languages,the cultivation of foreign language talents,and the role of foreign language in bridging the gap between minority nationalities and Han,and between the developed areas and the underdeveloped areas.
