Based on the survey of tourism resources in Yellow River source region, this study explores the spatial distribution characteristics, regional difference and traffic accessibility of tourism resources in this area by using geographic concentration index method, the Voronoi polygon area variation, location entropy analysis and beta index, and then conducts an analysis of tourism resources' center structure characteristics according to the theory of core-edge structure. The major conclusions are as following:Tourism resources in Yellow River source region have a distribution feature of "big scattered, small concentration",and this feature is advantageous to the centralized development of resources. From the aspect of transportation, tourism transportation and resource distribution are at a low level of connection degree, and the improvement of traffic conditions is very important for tourism development. As to center structure characteristics, one third of county tourism resource center structure is at the higher level of equilibrium stage, and area has the obvious "paragraph" characteristics. Therefore,by geographical spatial division, putting forward the development pattern of "one belt three zones",improving the traffic environment and the structure of tourism resources, and relying on the geographical advantage are the main methods to develop characteristic tourism projects and other measures to realize the scientific and reasonable layout of tourist resources,in order to promote the sustainable tourism development of this region.
