历代英语学习词典的语言学探析

摘要 英语学习词典拥有庞大的用户市场,也历经了几次跨时代的发展,具有深刻的语言学烙印。首先对英语学习词典发展进行分期,根据宏观特点把英语学习词典分成六代,这是首次对当代为止的英语学习词典全貌进行历时性分期;再以语言学的各个分支学科为视角,探索历代英语学习词典发展过程中蕴含的语言学原则与体现的语言学规律,以期帮助用户更有效地使用英语学习词典,把握英语学习词典的发展脉络。 English learners" dictionaries enjoy wide popularity among language learners and have under- gone several revolutionary transitions with a profound linguistic influence. This paper first analyzes differ- ent historical stages of English learner's dictionaries briefly, and then divides them into six generations ac- cording to their macrostructural features. This is the first diachronical division in whole history of the Eng- lish learner's dictionaries. The paper also explores the linguistic principles and rules underlying their histor- ical development in the perspectives of the various branches of linguistics, aiming to help users make more effective use of English learners" dictionaries, and be aware of the development trends of English learner's dictionaries.
