Analysis and Guidance Strategy on the Phenomenon of “the Youth Leading Single Life in Urban Areas”

在现代性的大背景下,中国青年群体中开始出现"空巢"现象,它是当代青年独居生活方式和焦虑心态的反映,是青年自我实现的需要与主客矛盾的缓解,是群体规范的认同与集体焦虑的弥散,也是社会公共空间缺失及个人主义泛化的产物。因此,要引导"空巢青年"探寻精神自由解放,改善青年的精神文化环境,重构青年的精神生活家园,丰富青年的精神交往方式。

In general background, there has been the phenomenon of ＂the youth leading single life in urban areas＂ among Chinese youth, which not only reflects contemporary youth＇s single life style and anxiety, but also works as a relief to subject-object contradiction during the course of the youth＇s self-realization. The phenomenon shows recognition on group regulation as well as the anxiety spreading among the group. In addition, it results from the lack of social public space as well as the generalized individualism. Therefore, we should make efforts in the following aspects, including, guiding ＂the youth leading single life in urban areas＂ to explore liberation and freedom in spirit, establishing a healthy spiritual environment for them, re-establishing their spiritual life, and enriching their approaches for spiritual communications.
