The trend of development of the process of globalization is the problem of wide spread concern. In the current stage of development of globalization 0 the western developed capitalist countries occupy the dominant position, but this does not mean that glo- balization will inevitably lead to global capitalism. The fact that all kinds of contradictions and problems caused by the process of glo- balization has been a challenge to capitalism. These contradictions and problems and the efforts of the international community to re- solve these contradictions and problems may determine the possible trend of the historical process of globalization. The theory of com- munism is a part of Marx＇s theory of globalization, which is an important resource for the research of the historical development trend. The development path of socialism with China characteristics may bring new hope for the development of the process of globalization.
