New Development Concept and Historical Materialism

新发展理念是唯物史观在当今时代的运用,也在运用中深化和拓展了唯物史观的视野。"创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享"五大理念都出自当今社会生产力发展的要求,代表了广大人民的根本利益,体现了人民主体,还深刻地体现了唯物史观中贯穿的实践意识、问题意识和辩证思维。新发展理念对于唯物史观的新贡献表现在:面对科学技术迅猛发展,明确指出"创新"已经成了社会生产力发展乃至社会发展的重要驱动力;从当今中国的实际和世界的实际出发,强调了"协调"的理念;突出"绿色"发展,表达了对当代社会人与自然界关系问题的忧虑和关切;以"开放"和"共享"两个理念很有代表性地体现了社会主义的中国特色所在。五大理念对于唯物史观的继承和发展,从一定意义上来说是全方位的、完整的。它引导着中国特色社会主义的建设,也将引导人类命运共同体的发展。

The new development concept is the application of historical materialism in the contemporary era, which in turn has also deepened and expanded the vision of historical materialism during the application process. The ＂Five Main Concepts＂, including ＂Innovation, Coordination, Green Development, Opening Up, and Sharing＂, have all originated from the demand of development of social productivity, and represent the fundamental interests of the vast majority of people. They embody the people＇s status as ＂major actors＂, and profoundly convey the practical awareness, problem awareness and dialec- tical thinking in historical materialism. The new development concept has made new contribution to historical materialism in the following aspects ： in the face of the rapid development of science and technology, it clearly points out that ＂innovation＂ has become an important driving force for the development of social productivity and even the entire social development; starting from the realistic situations in today＇s China and the world, it emphasizes the concept of ＂coordination＂ ; it also high- lights the idea of ＂green＂ development, which expresses the concerns about and consideration for the relationship between man and nature in contemporary society. The two concepts of ＂opening up＂ and ＂sharing＂ represent the Chinese characteris- tics of socialism in a typical manner. The ＂Five Main Coneepts＂have inherited and developed the historical materialism. In a certain sense, this has been done in a full and complete manner. It leads the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and will also leads the development of human community with shared destiny.
