李白家世研究“西域胡人说”平议

Comment onthe Theory that Li Bai's Family Originated from Barbarians in the Western Region

陈寅恪考辨李《序》、范《碑》有关李白家世的记载,断言李白为"西胡族类之深于汉化者",其先世于隋末因罪窜谪碎叶、条支之说不实,所谓陇西李氏、入蜀后复姓云云,不过是"诡称"、"文饰"之辞。陈寅恪的考辨既是基于实证经验,也鲜明体现了其中古历史研究中所持的种族文化观念,同时也是对李白和他那个时代的历史及文化重构的过程。陈氏的这一推断,以及詹锳、松浦友久等人的相关考辨,还可启发我们用西方"他者"之说来审视李白的思想及一生行迹,包括他人生中的种种传奇和不幸。

After making researches on some records of Li Bai＇s family background in Li＇s Preface and Fan＇ s Epigraphy,Chen Yinke asserted that Li Bai was from Western barbarians rather than from Han family,the saying that his ancestors were exiled to Suiye,and Tiaozhi is not in compliance with the fact,and the saying that Li＇ s family in Longxi changed the family name after entering Sichuan is nothing but a false allege. Chen＇ s research is based on empirical experience,manifesting the ethnic cultural concept he held in studies of the Chinese ancient history. Meanwhile,it is also a historical and cultural reconstruction of Li Bai and his time. Chen ＇ s assertion,together with related researches of Zhan Ying,Matsure Tomonisa and others,provides us with inspirations that we can use the Western theory of ＂the other＂to make a survey of Li Bai＇ s ideas and life,including his legends and misfortunes.
