The essence of the ancient Chinese military thought lies in the solider-farmer integration. Mao Zedong transformed it fundamentally with Marxism, giving a new life and connotation to it and turning the idea of serving the feudal ruling class into a sharp weapon of the people＇s revolution. It can be said that Mao Zedong is the founder and great practitioner of the CPC＇s idea of the integration of military and civilian sectors. Under the new historical conditions, General Secretary Xi Jinping inherits and develops this idea, and builds a complete scientific system, which is a powerful ideological weapon to guide the national defense and army strengfthening in the socialist stage.
