Construction and perfection of reading promotion mechanism in the applied undergraduate colleges library is to guarantee the sustainable and effective development of reading promotion service. This paper discusses four principles of constructing the read- ing promotion mechanism, draws up the frame of reading promotion development based on the five elements of library science, and expounds the six aspects of reading promotion mechanisms in the applied undergraduate college library in detail.
