温泉修禊重现天齐渊

HOT SPRING XIUXI REAPPEARS IN TIANQIYUAN

临淄境内，淄河东岸，牛山西北麓刘家终村北，曾有一处清澈甘甜的泉水，这就是著名的天齐渊，俗称温泉。天齐渊有天之腹脐之谓，齐地、齐国亦因此得名，昔时五泉并出，大泉喷玉碎，小泉吐珠圆，蔚为壮观。

On the east bank of the Zi River in Linzi, to the north of Liujiazhong Village in the northwest of the Niu Mountain, there is a clear and sweet spring, namely, the famous Tianqiyuan, commonly known as a hot spring. It is said that in the remote ages, there were eight gods to be worshiped on the land of Qi. This place was the sacrificial place for the God of Tianzhu(Heavenly Master). In 2001, the Linzi District Committee and the District Government constructed the Tianqiyuan Scenic Spot in Qi Park, Linzi; in 2009, the committee and the government conducted protective restorationworks at the Tianqiyuan Site. Based in the east of the Zi River and the south of the Jiaozhou-Jinan Railway, Tianqiyuan National Forest Park covers an area of 1,355 hectares, with a planned investment of RMB 2 billion and a construction period of 5 years. The construction of the park will reproduce the wonderful scenery of the hot spring and famous mountains in Tianqiyuan, and build the most beautiful sports resort in Linzi, integrating rural sightseeing, ecological leisure and healthy vacation.
