Reverse innovation plays an important role in the innovation catch-up of latecomer enterprise. This research analyzes the reverse innovation mechanism of the latecomer enterprises based on the niche market opportunity. It finds that market innovation-based market trajectory can create reverse innovation opportunities for latecomer enterprises, and reverse in- novation path based on niche market takes on multi-nature; Innovation capabilities which has been built in domestic market are the crucial support for reverse innovation of latecomer enterprises based on the niche market; The good interaction between the expansion of niche markets and innovation capabilities on the local contributes to the realization and upgrade of reverse innovation.
