Cmfort the Alive Lament the Dead——An Initial Study on the Memorial Poems of Tongcheng Poetess in Ming and Qing Dynasties

中国诗坛上,在男性悼亡诗赫赫诗名的光芒背后,女性诗人的悼夫诗也别具特色。明清桐城闺阁才女的悼亡诗多感怀伤己,抒写亡夫之痛、孀居之苦与守节之悲。且与男性悼亡诗相比,女性诗人以其细腻的情思与丰富的情感,诗作具有以下特点:哭诉衷肠,直抒胸臆;化用意象,情思细腻;借梦传情,一往情深。

The memorial poems written by Chinese poetesses, focusing on mourning their husbands, play a significant role in Chinese poetry as well as the great poems by Chinese poets. The poetesses in the Ming and Qing Dynasties always expressed the strong emotions of losing their husbands and suffering from living alone in their Boudoir. Besides, with their exquisite emotions, lacking in the poems written by poets, their poems bears the following features： expressing their emotions directly, using image to express their delicate emotions, showing their affection by means of dreams.
