认清“普世价值”实质 弘扬社会主义核心价值观

Recognizing the Essence of "Universal Value" and Carrying forward the Socialist Core Values

2012年11月8日中共十八大报告,明确提出"三个倡导",即"倡导富强、民主、文明、和谐,倡导自由、平等、公正、法治,倡导爱国、敬业、诚信、友善,积极培育社会主义核心价值观",而以美国为首的西方资本主义国家则提出了"普世价值"这样的声称是全人类共同价值观的理念。我们不可否定,全人类所需要的"普世价值"是存在的,但是我们首先应当对其所宣称的内容加以辨别。究其根本动机,我们不能认同西方资本主义国家为了追求自身利益而将只具有个别性的价值观理解成全人类具有普遍性的价值观。正确地认识中国和客观的看待外部世界则是当代大学生首先应当做到的。

On November 8, 2012, the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly put forward the ＂ Three Advocating＂ , namely, ＂advocating prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, advocating freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, and advocating patriotism, dedication, integrity and friendliness, so as to actively cultivate the core socialist values ＂. While the US -led western capitalist countries put forward the concept of ＂universal value＂ which is claimed by them to be the common values of all humankind. We cant deny that the ＂universal value＂ that all humankind needs is existent in the world, but we should firstly distinguish the content they claim. When it comes to the true motive, we cant agree with the western capitalist countries who would like to refer the individual values as the universal values in order to pursue their own interests. Therefore, correctly understanding China and objectively viewing the external world is the first thing that contemporary college students should do.
