社会工作服务机构的发展是推动社会工作发展的重要载体,也是一个地方社会工作发展水平的重要标志。汕头作为粤东区域中心城市,在推动社工机构发展上进行了有力的探索和实践。但总体上,目前汕头社工机构的数量少、规模小、实力弱。因此,汕头地方政府和社会需要结合本土场域,从政府制度、社会环境和机构内部治理等方面加以完善,从而推动汕头社工机构的精细化、专业化和本土化发展。
