民办高校发展现状及可持续发展路径:山东为例

Study on the Status Quo and Sustainable Path of Non-governmental Institutions of Higher Learning: Taking Shandong as an Example

随着我国高等教育大众化时代的到来,民办高校发展面临新的困难,表现为生源萎缩、办学经费紧张、办学质量提升缓慢以及社会声誉不佳等。为此,提出促进民办高校可持续发展的路径:政府应大力落实相关政策,为民办高校创设良好的制度环境,并对民办高校实施分类管理,突出办学的公益属性;民办高校既要理顺法人治理结构、提高科学管理水平,又要提高办学质量、突出办学特色。

With the advent of popularization of higher education, the development of non-governmental institutions of higher learning is facing new difficulties including shrinking student number, funding shortage, slow teaching quality improvement and poor public reputation. This paper proposes paths for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of non-governmental in- stitutions of higher learning, such as the government to implement the various policies and regulations to create a good institutional environment and to implement category management to emphasis the nun-profit characteristic, institutions to rationalize the corporate governance structure, improve the scientific management and educational quality, and highlight their characteristics.
