2016年,山东省纸及纸板产量1850万吨，占全国纸及纸板总产量的17．04％,比上年增加70万吨，同比增长3．93％；全行业产品销售收入1310亿元,占全国15．01％,同比增长6．5％;利税合计106亿元，同比增长10．42％；利润总额71亿元,同比增长18．33％；资产总计1670亿元，同比增长5．70％,效益经济指标增长优于产量增长并创历史最好水平，是山东省造纸行业不断调整产业结构、实施转型升级、坚持管理创新和供给侧结构性改革的硕果。

In 2016, the output of paper and board in Shandong totaled 18.50 million tons, accounting for 17.04% of national paper and board production. The output of Shandong Province increased by 0.70 million tons compared with 2015, with a year-on-year growth rate of 3.93%; total sales revenue of overall paper industry was CNY131 billion and occupied 15.01% of national sales revenue, risen by 6.5% compared with the same period of last year; profits and taxes totaled CNY10.60 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 10.42%; total profits amounted to CNY7.1 billion, with a year-on-year growth rate of 18.33%; total assets values CNY167 billion, grown by 5.70% compared with the same period of 2015. The benefit index of Shandong paper industry reached a new high with its developing speed faster than production growth, which is the fruitful achievement after industrial adjustment, transformation and upgrading, management innovation, and supply-side structural reform of paper industry in Shandong Province.
