中国新疆与中亚国家高校竞争力比较研究

Comparative Research on University Competitiveness Between Universities in Xinjiang, China and Those of Central Asia Countries

本文运用比较分析法,从教育规模、教育投入、师资队伍以及国际合作四方面,分析中国新疆与中亚国家高校竞争力,了解新疆与中亚国家高校竞争力的基本情况。再用SWOT方法分析中国新疆与中亚国家高校竞争力比较中存在的优势、劣势、机遇与挑战,以期明确新疆高校的发展方向。研究发现,新疆高校在教育投资方面强于中亚国家,在师资队伍与国际合作方面处于劣势。因此,新疆高校要抓住机遇全力打造高水平的师资队伍和全力促进高校国际合作发展,从而提高新疆高校的核心竞争力。

This paper uses the comparative analysis method to analyze university competitiveness between Xinjiang, China and those of Central Asia countries from such four aspects as education scale, educational investment, staff quality and international cooperation and to understand the basic situation of university competitiveness of these universities. Then the paper uses the SWOT method to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges in the comparison of the competitiveness of universities in Xinjiang and Central Asia countries in order to clarify the development direction of universities in Xinjiang. It is found that Xinjiang universities are stronger than those of Central Asia countries in educational investment, but they are at a disadvantage in the staff quality and international cooperation. Therefore, Xinjiang colleges and universities should seize the opportunity to build a higher level of qualified staff and promote international cooperation and development so as to improve the core competitiveness of universities in Xinjiang.
