柳宗元传世的诗歌中出现了种类丰富的"动物意象"。动物作为他表达感情的重要载体,呈现出柳宗元内心深处踊身失势的感叹、缧囚万里的孤单和身处蛮荒的担忧。文章着重探讨了柳宗元诗歌"动物意象"的重要作用及其与诗人内心世界的紧密联系。

There are rich ＂animal images＂in Liu Zongyuan＇ s poems. Animals are im- portant carriers for him to express feelings. This reflects his anxiety of political failure, lone- liness and uncertainty for his own situation in a wild place. The functions of the animal ima- ges and their connections with the poet＇ s emotion are discussed in this paper.
