Development and Evolution of Optical Networks and Challenges They Face

摘要 文章从发展光网络的驱动力和目的出发,重点介绍了光交叉连接设备的分类和实现技术、全光交叉连接器的核心硬件技术的发展、向智能光网络的演进、光网络的管理、IP层与光层的融合及网络的演进结构、多协议标记交换应用于光层后的特点和适配需要等。 Based on the impetus and object of developing optical networks, the paper presents the classification of optical cross connect (OXC) equipment and its implementation technologies, the development of key hardware technologies of AOXC system, the evolution of optical networks to intelligent optical networks, the management of optical networks, the convergence process of IP and optical layers, and the characteristics and adaption requirements of MPLS while applied to an optical layer.
