Analysis of Traffic Operation of Urban Expressway

城市快速路是城市交通干道,通过分析快速路交通运行情况,为合理的出行提供依据,以此提高路网利用率。以西安市南2环、东2环实地交通调查数据为基础,选取其中典型快速路路段,分析其交通流特性,根据不同的交通流参数调查数据分布情况,将不同的交通流运行状态划分为4个种类,提出了以速度、密度、饱和度为参数的运行状态分析指标体系。

The city expressway is the main route of traffic in the city. By analyzing the traffic situation of the expressway, reasonable basis is provided for the traveling of traveler. Because of that, the utilization rate of the road network is improved. Based on the traffic survey data of South Second Ring Road and East Second Ring Road in Xi＇an, the typical expressway sections are selected, and their traffic flow characteristics are analyzed. According to the distribution of different traffic flow parameters, different traffic flow states are divided for the four species, and speed-density-saturation as the parameters of the operating state analysis index system are proposed. As a result, a more accurate assessment of expressway traffic conditions are achieved, the city ＂smart traffic＂ construction is speed up.
