苏童是中国当代重要作家,始终关注着生命意识及人性主题。在中国现当代文学史中,许多作家从生命"神性"的角度书写理想的生存和精神家园,从而摆脱现代人普遍的生存焦虑,而苏童则从世俗生活的角度展示生命的颓废、沉沦和异化状态,这是一种人性的非本真状态的描写。这样反而直抵生命的本质,完成生命神性的叙述。这种自由的写作,是将生命神性与颓废美学融合在一起,建构小说生命意识的叙事形态。

Su Tong is an important writer of contemporary China and he always focuses on the life consciousness and the theme of human nature. In the history of Chinese contemporary literature, many writers write from the perspective of life ＂divinity＂ about the ideal of survival and spiritual home, so as to get rid of modern people＇s general survival anxiety. Comparatively, Su Tong reveals the decadence, degradation and alienation of life from the perspective of secular life, which is a description of the true state of human nature. This directly gets to the essence of life and completes the narrative of the divine nature of life. This free writing is the fusion of life divinity and decadent aesthetics,constructing the narrative form of life consciousness of novels.
