Formation of Chinese Cultural Tradition of Korean in the Ming Dynasty

明代,随着大量中国书籍传入朝鲜及在朝鲜的广泛传播,朝鲜社会学习中华文化蔚然成风,出现了大量以往历史上从未有过的文化现象,从统治阶层对儒家思想的咀嚼与吸收、儒家文化向社会底层的推广与灌输、崇儒重教促进朝鲜民族文化进步、学习运用中国科学技术等几个方面,反映出了以儒家思想为代表的中华文化已成为朝鲜文化血脉的文化本质。明代,超过以往任何历史时期的中朝友好政治关系,是促使这种文化本质产生的根本原因。

In the Ming Dynasty, with the extensive spread of Chinese books into Korea and the general trend of learning Chinese culture, there were many cultural phenomena that had never occurred in the past. Confucian culture had been widely accepted from the ruling class to the grass-root level; respect for Confucius and education promoted the Korean national culture; learning to use of Chinese science and technology. All these reflected the Confucianism as the representative of the Chinese culture had become the essence of Korean cultural tradition. The Ming Sino-Korean friendly political relations is the root cause for this cultural essence.
